The Agentic AI Readiness Assessment is a structured triage-style diagnostic that gives you a complete and systematic map of your agentic AI posture and a prioritised list of next steps.
Fixed fee: £500 | Duration: 90 minutes | Written output delivered within 24 hours
Who This Is For
Adopting agentic workflows introduces both a new class of risk – agentic AI risk – and a new way of working into your organisation or business unit. As a result, the Agentic AI Readiness Assessment is for you if you are in either of these two scenarios:
You Intend To Deploy Agentic Workflows
When you intend to deploy operational agentic workflows (beyond just admin assistants) and want to know what you should do to be ready to manage them.
You Are Receiving Questions
When a board member, regulator, or auditor has asked a question about agentic workflows that you cannot yet fully answer.
In both cases, the Agentic AI Readiness Assessment will illuminate the strengths and weaknesses in your readiness to manage agentic workflows and prioritise your response.
What The Agentic AI Readiness Assessment Is – And What It Is Not
An agentic AI readiness assessment is a structured diagnostic that evaluates a business’ agentic AI posture across three fundamental categories in a single facilitated session:

- Strategic readiness will tell you whether your organisation is in control of its agentic AI agenda or being led by it.
- Technical and operational readiness will indicate whether the firm can actually build and run what it is committing to deploy.
- Organisational readiness tells a manager whether a firm can govern and sustain agentic AI operations over time, not just launch them.
The session will identify any issues rapidly and prioritise your immediate next steps. It will not diagnose the issues and their root causes.
The output is a two-to-three-page written report, delivered within 24 hours, that will highlight the key findings in how well-connected your organisation is across three categories.
You can act on it immediately and share with your line manager, CRO, Head of AI, or other stakeholders.
How It Works in 3 Steps
Step 1 – Intake questionnaire (sent 48 hours before the session)

Step 2 – The 90-minute session
Delivered by one of Agentic Risks’ senior practitioners, the session works through the prerequisites needed for the three categories:
Minutes 1–10
Orientation – we confirm your current position on the deployment journey, identify which agentic use case(s) are in scope, and set expectations for the session output.
Minutes 11–30
Strategic prerequisites
- Understanding strategic readiness will tell you whether the organisation is deploying agentic AI in pursuit of clearly defined objectives or maybe reacting to external momentum.
- It will confirm whether the extent of risk appetite, compliance exposure, and accountability has been established, preventing costly course corrections later.
- It will assess use-case selection and implementation, and whether organisational capacity matches aspiration.
- Without this foundation, a firm risks deploying powerful technology in the wrong places, at the wrong pace, and without the executive clarity needed to defend decisions to regulators or boards.
Minutes 31-50
Technical and operational prerequisites
- Recognising technical and operational readiness will indicate whether your firm has the infrastructure, data, and engineering capability to build and run agentic workflows reliably.
- This section will cover how platforms are selected, whether the data agents on which agents depend are fit for purpose, and the extent to which systems are tested and secured before they are exposed to live operations.
- Performed early, it also surfaces capability gaps you can address through hiring or partnering rather than discovering mid-deployment.
- Without this foundation, firms risk deploying agentic workflows that behave unpredictably in production, consume unreliable data, or create cybersecurity exposures that, otherwise, may only become visible after a failure.
Minutes 51–80
Organisational prerequisites
- Appreciating your organisational readiness will tell you whether your business has the governance structures, human oversight mechanisms, and operational procedures needed to manage an agentic workflow once it is live.
- This section will examine whether risks are monitored through defined indicators, whether incidents can be detected and responded to systematically, and whether the workforce is prepared for the changes that agentic deployment brings to roles and operating models.
- It also covers third-party dependencies and the management of risk in your agentic supply chain that may be outside your firm’s direct control.
- Without this foundation, a business could operate agentic systems without the controls needed to catch problems early, respond effectively when things go wrong, or demonstrate responsible deployment to regulators.
Minutes 81–90
Verbal Summary And Recommended Next Step – we summarise the three to five most significant gaps and give you a specific recommendation for what to address first.
Step 3 – Written Readiness Report (delivered within 24 hours)
Within 24 hours of the session, you will receive a two-to-three-page written report.
It will be in plain English, with zero jargon, and structured to be immediately useful and shareable internally.
The Agentic AI Readiness Assessment report contains five sections:
The scope of the review, plus basic information like the time, date, and participants in the assessment.
Readiness posture
A one-page visualisation of your readiness posture across the three categories of prerequisites.
Priority findings
The 3-5 most significant findings from the session. Not an exhaustive list of everything that could be improved – a focused and constructive assessment of what matters most and why.
Prioritised next steps
A prioritised list of next steps needed to address any gaps.
Further support
(if applicable)
If we can help you with any of your next steps, we will direct you to the relevant service.
Sessions are delivered by Adam Grainger, Managing Director at Agentic Risks and a recognised expert on agentic risk management.
The Readiness Report is intended for internal sharing. A business manager who can show their line manager and stakeholders a structured, two- to three-page assessment of their agentic posture – with clear next steps – is in a strong position 1) to secure internal support for the next step, and 2) when an auditor arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Readiness Assessment is not a regulatory compliance audit. It evaluates your preparedness across 17 prerequisites that are necessary for any firm deploying agentic workflows, and the compliance prerequisite within the assessment covers whether you have assessed your relevant regulatory obligations – including financial services regulation, data protection law, and emerging AI legislation such as the EU AI Act.
